Work Out 2013 | Week 3

And of course, I became ill---again. The sickness our household has experienced has been frustrating to say the least. Still, I was able to make some headway with everything.

                                                             Accomplished:  
~ One minute and 20 seconds of plank
~ Able to go an additional two minutes in high impact cardio, bringing the grand total to 4 whole minutes. Ha! I laugh at myself, but this is progress and I'll take it. 
Frustrations:
~ Was unable to defeat workout 1 of  Jillian Michaels - 30 Day Shred. This is purely a shoulder issue. I will be attempting it this coming week with 3lb weights rather than 5's to see if it makes a difference. It's not even a weakness issue, as much as it is a joint-pain-and-pop-with-every-rep, issue. 
 ~ This is also an issue for going further with pushups.

Benefits:
~ Increased energy.
~ I am seeing a change in endurance and strength. Small changes but they are there, even at the end of week two.

Week 4 Goals:
~ One minute, 30 seconds of plank
~ Two full push-ups
~ 2 minutes of yoga squat
~ Adding in wall squats, starting at 30 seconds
~ Defeat The Shred, workout 1, with 3lb weights, and begin adding in the first five minutes workout 2 to workout 1 (ultimate goal, do both 1-2 together for a full 40 minute workout)
~ Work on fully defeating  Lindsay Brin's Boot Camp 2 DVD with Moms Into Fitness, (eventually adding it to the Weeks 1-2 segment for a full 40 minute workout)
~ Five workouts in seven days time.
