Skirts. It's the new shorts.
For me anyways.
At 36 and two full term pregnancies later, my shorts days are over. But on hot, humid, clammy days, capris are just way too hot. So I've been adding to my skirt collection. Usually via Salvation Army, but recently, Fresh Produce allowed me the ability to review their What it Seams Swing Skirt and frankly,
it. is. amazing.
There is a fun look to this skirt with a few criss-crossed seams that add to the overall design as well as the uneven hemline of higher in the front and lower in the back.
I'm 5'10". Skirts either need to be knee length or angle length for me to like them. Longer skirts are harder for me to achieve given my height but the What it Seams Swing Skirt is actually long on me. That's a big deal.
Fresh Produce makes clothes that are classic and comfortable. Perfect for Mamas who enjoy looking nice, either while at home or out and about, but don't want to sacrifice comfort for look. The material is as comfy as wearing yoga pants or PJ's but the look is one of dress up. From a range of casual clothes to resort wear to travel skirts, if a Mama wants it, she will more than likely find it on the Fresh Produce site.
The only drawback I would have to throw out there, is the price. For those of us on a frugal budget, many of these items are not ones we would consider, instead, heading for a comparable item at the nearest Salvation Army or clearance rack at a discount clothing store.
That said, if you do have splurge money and want a simplistic yet dressy looking outfit that is beyond comfortable to wear, Fresh Produce would be the first place I'd recommend to buy from, given my complete satisfaction with this particular skirt. While I add to my wardrobe with a more frugal means, I don't think I have ever found a skirt so comfortable as this one.
Disclosure: I received a complimentary skirt in exchange for an honest review.
