Not Mere Mortals

We watched a Truth Project clip last Sunday, that I have seen before and been strongly impacted by, each time.

If time is not available to watch this, the crux is:

There are no mere mortals.
Everyone has a story.
And I would add, of course, everyone has a divine purpose.

The quote originally comes from C.S. Lewis
"There are no ordinary people. You have never talked to a mere mortal."

That distressingly bad smelling person in Wal*mart. . .
Not a mere mortal.

That person that loves to find fault with you and tries to pick a fight every time you turn around. . .
Not a mere mortal.

The rude customer service rep. . .
Not a mere mortal.

That shocking, misbehaving child in the restaurant. . .
Not a mere mortal.

His parents that aren't doing a thing about his behavior. . .
Not a mere mortals.

Your spouse. . .
Not a mere mortal.

Your children. . .
Not a mere mortals.

How does life change for me when I consider that not one person who comes into it, is not a mere mortal?

How do my interactions with my spouse and children change when I believe with all my heart, they are not mere mortals?
