Lock, stock, and barrel

We're at Shiloh, "lock, stock, and barrel" as they say. :) But still without many of the basics. . . you know, like hot water and a washer and finished bedrooms, and *GASP* internet.

I have a few more days that I can come back to our rental and check in here and take a shower and do some laundry, but after that *shrugs*, who knows what the plan is. Hard to believe Type A me is saying that! But as my husband loves to say, "It is what it is" and I'm learning to roll with what is. In fact, it's facilitating a pending post about "Tranquility does not depend upon. . . " complete with pictures of the chaos I am living in.

Tranquility, now there is a lesson 36 years in the making in my life! ;)  There are definitely no accidents with God, including how He may orchestrate to bring valuable lessons like that about in one's life.

Isn't it neat when we can literally take a step back and observe our own situation and see clearly that we're being refined and shaped? I am in that season right now. It's both exhausting and awesome, all at the same time.

Until I can check in again, blessings to all of you and thank you so much for the emails and comments of support and prayer.

Much love!
