Happy Thanksgiving!

I trust it is a beautiful, wonderful day for you!

Us? In around Thanksgiving dinner with Handsome's side of the family, we're beginning the moving process. Into a place that has
~ No hot water
~ No shower
~ No working stove
~ No bedrooms that are usable yet
~ No washer/dryer hook up
~ Trench still in the master room floor for plumbing
~ Main bathroom still with a dug up floor and only skeleton walls.
~ Only a pellet stove for the entire residence (which trust me, is a huge stretch this time of year in our particular state)

We'll be setting up bedrooms, office, school room, and living area all in the dining room/living room area. Living there, surrounded by our belongings. Good times!

Tranquility does not depend on my surroundings. This is what I keep telling myself.

I also keep telling myself that dreams come true but not without struggle. And the struggle is what makes me the person I need to be, to live out the story God is writing for me. The person I need to be for the God given vision of Shiloh.

And really, when you think about it, for notoriety sake, it's a great story. Someday when people walk into our gorgeous residence we'll be able to tell the story of how, on Thanksgiving Day we moved in with most of it non-liveable. It's definitely the makings of a great, "Remember when" memory. As one person said on Facebook, "Someday you'll look back on these days. . . "

So true!
