What looked like an open door for our vision for a home for the kids no one wants, has seemingly shut due to the property, as of right now, going to someone else. Perhaps, the door is still open in the heavenly realm but from the earthly perspective, I can't see that.

Why bother walking through open doors if they just get shut? Because sometimes, it's a simple matter of our Father wanting to see if we'll be obedient to His prompts. His ways are not ours. If He wants us to walk only so far and then stop the process, that's up to Him . . .

 When it's a journey we can finish, it's our own. When it's a journey only He can finish, it has definitely come from Him.

I want to walk the journey He has for me, not the one I make for myself.

It's not up to me to figure out how to make the dream happen. It's up to Him.

These are my tasks, not helping God make His vision come to pass. 

This obstacle? Really, it's His obstacle. . . because this is all His vision. 

I will simply rest and wait to see how He moves it.
