Simple Woman's Daybook

FOR TODAY...

Outside my window...it's cold and I feel like if I looked outside and saw snow, it wouldn't at all be a suprise.

I am thinking...I'm not doing too bad on my to-do list AND the kids have all had alot of (individual) attention paid to them too!

I am thankful for... Dib and Stacy's friendship, seeing my old counseling practice partners visit our church yesterday (I miss them SO much--and yeah, the counseling practice too some days. :-(, the cute little peanut of a girl that is "helping" me type while her brother and my daughter still nap, coffee.

I am wearing... jeans and stretch blouse from NY and Co

I am remembering...that I have to get supper going, though I don't know what it is yet. Something with chicken and rainbow swisschard from the garden.

I am creating... nothing as of today, but I really am chomping at the bit to start sewing again now that garden season is (mostly) done.

I am going... shopping tonight when my hubby gets home. *blech* This one-vehicle household thing is rough some weeks, when the only time I can grocery shop is late at night, despite my 4:30 mornings!

I am reading...What if God were Real and The Eye of the god.

I am hoping... To pull out my sewing machine this coming weekend.

On my mind...trying to balance out life with daycare kids, Mama Buzz and all the demands it is bringing into my life (in a good way) and my desire to finish the three half-finished manuscripts tucked away on my hard drive.

From the learning rooms... I have to get more sleep than I'm getting. Five hours a night is rough. Depression struggles are alot worse with this little amount of sleep. It goes back to trying to figure out my balance.

Noticing that... It's almost time for the kids' Mama to come pick them up. . . and I'm really, really hungry.

Pondering these words...Pastor Jim's sermon yesterday. It wasn't anything "new" to me, but it has caused me to wonder, yet again, just how far I'll go to stand in what I believe to be God's truth in today's world that really hates that truth and labels you intolerant for standing for it.

From the kitchen... I have no idea yet!

Around the house.. . my girl is sleeping, so is my daycare boy, and Little Miss is cuddling with me as I finish this up, all while singing Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star. Dishes need to be done, and supper needs starting--or at least planning.

One of my favorite things. . . little kids and their cuddles.

A few plans for the rest of the week. . . do a month's worth of menus, re-work my color-coded-(OCD)-schedule I have, do some Mama Buzz reviews ahead of schedule, send out review info to Mama Buzz reviewers for upcoming reviews, and break out of my need-for-neat-comfort zone and try some goopy, messy crafts with the kids. ;)
