* Around the Blogosphere, October 31, 2009 *

I didn't get back to blogging this week. Did you notice?

My daughter, having recovered from Roseola, then picked up a sinus infection. Honestly, we have not had this much sickness since I had never-ending bronchitis in my 7th month of pregnancy! I'm thinking it's a combination of having daycare kids here 30-50 hours a week and the increased schedule of our lives, preventing me from juicing or doing green smoothies as much. I can promise you, I am trying to get back into it however!

The two daycare kids are sick and I am almost positive their Mama will find out that they have bronchitis when she takes them to the Dr.

As if that isn't enough, my daughter and my 2 year old daycare girl are also teething molars on top of being ill.

Fun times, let me tell you!

Thankfully, in the two weeks of sickness and clinging, crying (at times, screaming) toddlers, I was able to "get away". A week ago by awesome husband arranged for his Dad and Mom to watch our daughter and he took me out for Indian food. What an amazing meal! I've never had such an intensely flavorful meal, even in a Mexican restaurant.

On Sunday we went to church and then did home group Sunday evening. While we were exhausted, it was still a soul refreshment for me to be around people instead of toddlers! Yes, even love-to-stay-at-home-in-my-solitude me loved the people interaction! ;-)

Despite the insanity of sick and teething children all week, I had a chance to catch up on what's going on around the blogosphere and as usual am sharing the gems of the week with you!

My Mama Buzz partner, Mel, introduced a new series she will be doing, Simplifying Your Holidays.

I wrote about spending one-on-one time with our children for my weekly Mom2Mom post this past week.

Two weeks ago, Mel and I addressed being stay-at-home moms in our first ever vlogs. Mel started us off with expressing her dismay that people think she doesn't "work" because she stays at home and I wrapped up, talking about how people seem to enjoy expressing their disappointment that I have "wasted my degree".
