FOR TODAY...
Outside my window...it is a gorgeous Fall day. The sun is shining and the leaves are starting to change color.
I am thinking...that I can't wait to go outside and get some sun and fresh air once my girl wakes up!
I am thankful for... my husband and daughter, the reality of heaven, music that stirs the soul, that God collects my tears in a bottle and has a purpose for each one, for Fall warmth and sun.
I am wearing...warm up pants, a t-shirt, and zippered hoodie

I am remembering...two years ago when I was uncomfortably pregnant and trying to get Fall garden work done admidst a huge belly (and 50 extra lbs!)
I am creating...blog posts in my head, for this blog and Mama Buzz. Posts that I hope and pray will strengthen, encourage, uplift, and even inspire women. (I'm working on a series, based on some emails/facebook questions I've been getting, about juicing and eating naturally and organically. Posts will cover everything from "Why Eat Naturally (Organically)?" to "How to Juice", to "Eating Sprouted Foods" and "Drinking Kefir".
I am going... to the Mark Schultz/Point of Grace concert at our brand new church on Saturday night! Can't wait for a night out with my hubby and daughter. :)
I am reading...Guardian of the Flame and The Strong Willed Child (one of my daycare kids is the reason the book was written. lol)
I am hoping...that Mama Buzz continues to get more companies on board with our blog tours. Multanomah Press joined us today and I'm really hoping for ZonderKidz!
I'm also hoping to get a good amount of Fall garden work done this afternoon since I have no daycare kids today.
On my mind...missing our baby horribly. It's one of my weepy/sad days. . .
From the learning rooms...to take Sundays off. Off from Mama Buzz, off from email, off from gardening and cleaning, off from menu planning, etc etc. Just to chill out and relax and do what I enjoy with my family! The world isn't going to crash and burn if I take a day off from my "to-do" list.
Noticing that...while it's warm outside, the chill of winter has already hit our uninsulated apartment. *blech*
Pondering these words...(taken from my own journal: "is it possible that our lack of biological children may be the very opportunity for other children to find a home and family, that they so desperately need? Can I surrender to that purpose if that is indeed, what God intends to bring about from our struggles to conceive?)
From the kitchen...black beans are simmering on the stove, being readied for the black bean/cherry tomato/sweet corn salad I'm making for tomorrow's lunch.
Around the house.. .my daughter is sleeping, so are the chinchilla's, it's clean and tidy and organized (until tomorrow morning at 6:30 when the daycare kids return), and laundry needs to be switched from the washer to the dryer.
One of my favorite things. . . Hiking in the fall, praise and worship music, a mocha latte (this natural-sugar free girl just can't break the addiction!) and reading at night after a long day of childcare, cooking, cleaning, preschooling, etc etc.
A few plans for the rest of the week. . . Have an US/Mammogram tomorrow to keep monitoring these stupid lumps I have, get Fall work done on the garden (pull up old plants, harvest black beans, harvest onions and beets), can beets, dice and freeze onions, preschool my girl and the daycare kids, work on Mama Buzz data entry, soak in as much warm, Fall weather as possible despite the allergy attacks! and love on my hubby and girl.
